favorite color...
there's just too many choices out there and to me it all depends...and sometimes it really depends on my mood or the phase that i'm in...i'll share some of my favorite color schemes in a room later on.
but really, i don't have a specific color that i can consider my "favorite"...do you?
these are my 2 favorites...just love the bright colors...hhmmm...which one should i get...
i actually like the pantone 716c.
*update* - i've purchased the orange flash drive...yay...can't wait...now i have to wait for the snail mail...

is it really over??
i love my design magazines... they're just so inspiring. i love them so much that i can't even toss a single issue. they're all stored in the storage right now. and before i found out about this sad news i was even planning on reorganizing our storage and boxing up my old magazines for safe keeping...i'll still have to do that project and will keep an update on how that goes.
(i found out about this on apartment therapy http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/ny/news/no-shelter-domino-to-close-the-new-york-observer-069524 ...here's the article where they found it from No Shelter in a Storm! As Economy Quakes, Home Mags Teeter.)

inspired to...sketch
i was browsing the internet and just seem to be inspired to work on the skills/the skills "needed". i haven't sketched in a while since i've graduated at the academy of art university about a year and a half ago. i took an "advance quick sketch" class on my last semester. at first i was very intimidated by it, but i grew to love it. we had to sketch about average of 10+sketches per week. that may not seem like a lot, but if you think about it, it is especially if you go to school, have a part time job, 2 internships, a boyfriend...that's a lot of work and not enough time...but i survived and here i am a "graduate"...
i know i've been wanting to work on my sketches forever...but always seem to procrastinate... something always seems to distract me...the TELEVISION...that's another topic another day/time...
so today will be the day...i don't have anything in particular that i want to sketch...but tonight, i'm going to work on at least 2 sketches...maybe...just maybe...i'll be brave enough to post it up... if i do, please keep in mind, that i was never good in sketching and again, i haven't sketched in more that a year and a half...and that's why i'm starting now...to improve my sketches...so pls keep that in mind and don't "judge" :) ...

santana row
Santana Row...one of my favorite places to go to. i always seem to be inspired whenever i'm there. especially when i'm there early on a sunday morning, before the weekend crowd arrives. just walking around drinking my lovely soy white mocha (iced/warm...prefer iced even on a rainy day...actually, especially on a rainy day) and just enjoying the peaceful morning and watching the people set up for the farmers market, families spending time on a sunday morning, and just sitting out in the couryard reading my book and just enjoying the view of the buildings and appreciating how it is all designed.
i found this lovely image courtesy of Flickr. i just love the way the colors turned out. i'm not sure how it was done, but I'd love to learn how to and maybe try it out myself one of these days.
i just realized i haven't been to santana row in weeks. something always seems to come up and prevents me on going there. i don't really like going there in the afteroon/evening, not unless i really have to. i prefer going in the morning because it's much more peaceful and i get good parking for sure. hopefully i'll be able to go sometime soon.
first day
i am still trying to figure out the how i want this layout to look like. it took me a while to figure out the name for my blog since most names i had in mind was taken. i decided to use "blueprint look book" since it'll be a place for me to share things that interest me or not interest me.
i'm very new to this so please bare w/ me...(i'm no carrie bradshaw...but i do love her)
so here it goes...
